Robbie heads for the Lions!
We’re delighted to announce the pre-contract signing of forward Robbie Muirhead from Greenock Morton.
The 28-year old has found the net 44 times for the ‘Ton, lifting the club’s Top Goalscorer award for the current campaign with 17 goals and joins the Lions on a two-year-deal.
Starting his career with Kilmarnock, Robbie has gone on to play for Dundee United, Partick Thistle, Heart of Midlothian, MK Dons and Dunfermline Athletic before joining the Cappielow side in 2019 under former Lions manager David Hopkin.
The frontman was capped to under 19 level for Scotland and was nominated for UEFA’s Goal of the Season award for this strike against Norway Under 19’s in a 1-1 draw back in 2015.
Robbie will join fellow new recruits Liam Sole and Matthew Clarke in returning for pre-season in mid-June.
