Striker Scott Tiffoney has tonight joined League One side Partick Thistle on-loan until the end of the 2020/21 season.
“Tiff” has made 14 appearances for the Lions this season, 5 starts and 9 from the bench, scoring one goal – the opener in a 2-0 home win over St Johnstone back in September.
He joins a Partick Thistle side currently sitting in 5th place, tied on points with fourth place Airdrie and 8 points from league leaders Falkirk.
Manager David Martindale said: “I felt it was in the best interest of Scott that we allowed him to go out on loan and play football. We only have six games (hopefully more!) left and I’m comfortable that we have enough offensive options within the current squad to see us through.
“Partick Thistle could still have 15+ games left to play and it’s a great opportunity for Scott to get out playing regularly. He turns 23 in August and it’s vital for his career going forward that he is out playing first-team football week-in, week-out.
“I wish Tiff nothing but the best and hopefully he can go and score a few goals in the coming months.”
