Scotland’s World Cup group stage clash against Morocco is set to be shown live on Friday 19th June after TRNSMT at Glasgow Green, bringing the Hampden roar to the heart of the city and giving fans the chance to cheer on their heroes on the biggest screens in the country after a day of sensational live music.
With Steve Clarke leading his side onto football’s greatest stage for the first time in almost 30 years, Scotland face three crucial matches in the United States, taking on Haiti on 14th June before meeting Morocco on 19th June. Although the match begins at 11pm, festival fans can remain in Glasgow Green to watch the game live from Boston, transforming the park into Scotland’s most exciting World Cup watch party!
The football action will follow an amazing day and night of music, with Richard Ashcroft finishing his headline set in plenty of time for fans to grab food and refreshments before kick-off. Wolf Alice, The Beta Band and Nile Rodgers & Chic are also on Friday’s lineup, and will ensure the party atmosphere is in full swing before Scotland take centre stage.
Access to the screening will be available to all Friday ticket holders and multi-day pass holders that include Friday.
